I hear that a lot from students — as do lots of parents — and, you know, I’m inclined to agree. English Language is skills-based, rather than content-based, so revision doesn’t seem as straightforward as with, say, one of the sciences or a language.
But just because you can’t revise, doesn’t mean there aren’t all sorts of useful ways in which you can prepare for English Language.
I’m running small-group preparation sessions during the Easter holidays, reviewing the skills needed for both papers and providing ideas for way to practice those skills in the run-up to the exams in May and June. We’ll be working in a group of at most 7 students — small enough that you can ask whatever questions you like.
April 3rd, 10am to 12 noon — OCR Paper 1, Communicating Information and Ideas: Section A
April 4th, 10am to 12 noon — OCR Paper 2, Exploring Effects and Impact: Section A
April 5th, 10am to 12 noon — OCR Papers 1 and 2: Section B
You can book one session — or both — or all three. Whatever works for you.
One session: £40
Two sessions: £75
Three sessions: £100
Fill in the form here to request a place — or two — or more!
SMALL PRINT: we’ll be working on the OCR exam board, which is the board studied at Tring School. If you’re at a different school, these won’t necessarily be for you. Check which exam board you’re studying for before you book, ok?
