My Portfolio Career

I have a BA Hons (1992), MA (1994), and PhD (1999) in English, as well as qualifying as a secondary teacher in 2005. I taught at colleges and universities in Canada and the USA (1992-2004), and at secondary school in the UK (2004-2008, 2020-2022). I’ve been working as a private tutor since 2008, as well as a freelance writer, blogger, and editor since 2014. I also have professional experience in charity fundraising (2008-2013, 2017-18).
